ok boy's !  some of you act like you never made a mistake in your  life!
hey gumby;
last time i check i don't remember seeing anything where there was a time limit on making right on a past mistake.

i know. i have one. its called a EX-wife and she sure  to point it out every chance she get . it took me/myself/ I  about  15 YEARS to forgive her.

he is here now trying to  say he sorry and only time will he earn some one trust!
remember it easier to fix them, than to find them after they been crushed.

Remember Vinnie? I like they guy cause he came back and fixed everything. He also sells parts and has a good rep. If you square up in the next couple of weeks, then fine. If not, your as good as gone to anyone one here.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Why do you have two vehicles, plus your "fila" if you still haven't paid people back? It obviously not high on the list of stuff to do.

I sure did have selling issues.I never made that a secret.I don't mind talking about it.It's good for people to know what's up,who they're dealing with, and if they're trustworthy.I love the feedback system as well that we have.I got burned by a partner I was selling parts with ( about 3 or so years ago)who took off with all of the parts I had sold (well,a vast majority of them) and the cash we had made together, then in turn, ended up not having what some people bought.I went crazy trying to get things right. Finally did after a period of time.I tried really hard to keep in touch and finally got everyone squared away the right way,and didn't stop until the customers were satisfied..Never did see my partner (loose term) again.Probably better that way.I had a guy on the Corral just a week or so ago saying he was scammed by me (no payment, but it was mailed before he got mad,and received while he was posting). Not cool.I talked to him over and over, and he still wasn't happy.I figure one out of about 800 transactions (here,Corral, and Ebay) is par for the course. There are those that you can't please no matter what you do.I tried,I feel good knowing I did all I could do.That's what's important.Doing the best you can and making it as right as possible.I think this group here is tighter than most forums I've seen, and if you mess around too much,it'll come back to bite you hard.I myself forget things from time to time, but I do try my best to keep everything smooth.Gotta take care of business.Heck,I probably give as many parts away around here as I sell.I enjoy helping the "crew" around here when I can.It gives me that warm spongy feeling.

i said you have had plenty of time to square up, and you have chosen not to. i do not believe you ever will; why should i? cause you have changed? did you change this morning???? no. maybe you have changed as a person, but it wasnt today. and ill say it again you have had plenty of time already. people who change dont tell everyone about it, they show it.

its not up to us or anyone else other than yourself to redeam yourself. reguardless of what anyone does or say here, you havnt already maned up enough to correct things. ithink if you mean any of what you had said, you would have already done something about it without being prompted to do so.

The only people that have any power to forgive you are those you wronged, and truthfully, they're the only ones who should be voting in your poll. I have yet to see one of them say you've made everything all right.

Rancheronut: We've all made mistakes, but nobody would expect to be forgiven for a mistake until the mistake has been undone. 84 Fila did not steal from me or you, so it's easy enough for us to forgive him. It's also not our place to forgive him. I don't think you were around this forum when everything went wrong for Fila (or, more appropriately, things went wrong for his customers). Here's a refresher for you (the thread that brought it all out)

Being an admin I have to remain neutral. Being observers, so should the rest of you. Only Fila's victims of crime have any real say in this.

I wasn't trying to talk smack on you... I appoligize if it sounded that way. It takes a stand up guy to send a 17 year old kid a h-pipe a year after the deal got ruined. That was over 4 years ago I think.

I am going to say one thing.

Don't even think about coming close to the Marketplace while I'm here.

For the rest of the folks, if you decide to have dealings with Mike via PM's, IM's or emails or whatever, you've been warned.  If you don't know what's going on, you can find the thread(s) on why he was booted in the first place.  Caveat emptor (or venditor).

Wow, can't say I expected this to be so nasty.  I guess I also didn't realize the extent of his mistakes.  I'm just gonna say this:  you better start ACTUALLY making things right ASAP, or I suspect that you won't last very long on here.

Chuck, thanks for the link, I'm on it as we speak.

I *belive* that I have 3 people to fix things with:
Atariman
Flyer

Once I re-make contact and re-aquire  shipping info, money will be out asap.
And one that isn't in the thread, beej8508

I dont think your being completely fair to everyone here especially not knowing the full deal.  I watched this guy arrive, befriended him and backed him up even when it was not popular.  He's trying yes but this thread is turning out more and more like the thread Chuck referenced.  Many people complained but not many came forward and said Mikey owed them anything.
In light of that, whoever has parts / money exchange issues with Mikey, say so!!

This dirty laundry needs cleaned up so if you are in a bad deal with Mikey then post here.  I know full well the board owner is one not to mention a couple of others.

Mikey, i thought you were going to fix all this bro?  stop doing this  to yourself.  The boys ask about you now and again and they say hi as well as brit.

I just saw your photos in the Show us your Mug thread. Pre boot camp you're kissing a bottle of beer, after pictures you are still hogging the alcohol. The only change I notice in you so far is your haircut. I get back to Canada tomorrow, when I return Im gonna watch you like a hawk. My gut feeling is that you haven't changed. So prove me wrong Mikey.

Ya know..there's plenty of us here who drink beer on occasion..so what?
When did judgmentalness (is that a word..?) become a part this issue?

The ISSUE here is him growing some balls and (finally) taking care of his issues...if he doesn't in a reasonable amount of time, say..a month?..well, then you could do the whole ban thing again, no?
Sure, he's had oh-so-how long of an amount of time...so that's a strike against him, yeah, but let him have one last try..?
Perhaps I'm out of line, and no, I didn't have a bad deal with him over parts or money owed, so it's really none of my business, but I think it's at least fair to give him a chance to make it right, or at least pay back what he owes...

Personally, as far as myself goes..i kinda screwed carpimp and amooset around on their parts...
But I made good on it, just took me a little while.
And yeah..I'm still embarassed by it.

I'm not trying to champion anyone, but cut the kid some slack, see what he does with this, and let it take it's course.
Nor does everybody and their dog jumping in here and saying yay or nay have a thing to do with furthering his cause...this place has really gotten political lately, and has lost that "comfortable feel" that it used to have...used to be that it felt kind of close and friendly, but now, I'm almost afraid to post for fear of being ridiculed or even flat out put down..

I drink beer on occasion...am I now on anyone's shiznit list? :flip:
