Incredible Mercury Ad

I don't know if you've seen this yet...but the ad is just awesome. Definitely one of the most well-done car commercials I've ever seen on TV. It's about the closest that Merc has ever come to matching the sensational "The Shape You Want To Be In" ads of the mid-1980's.

P.S. One of us Merc guys needs to hook up with Jill Wagner already. OUCH. That is one hot tamale. Although this chick is also incredibly smokin'. I think they both need to make an Eric-wich so I can make a more informed decision. :tg:

From a design standpoint, I think it was brilliantly constructed with a pleasing balance of color. I found the writing to be somewhat expected, but the overall design more than makes up for it.

Does Ford have an agency or are they in-house?

Our company, along with Y&R Detroit supported that commercial, although Y&R have now teamed up with Ford divisions JWT to combine efforts, they are now called "team detroit". Eric, she is even hotter in person! "She" sent me this a couple of jobs ago..

i cant help it. if i had to choose between a ferrari enzo and a 1970 mustang boss 429, it would be the boss. yup, you read right.

there is NOTHING like a huge v8. nothing.

Amen.  Ferraris sound cool, but the sound my dad's Chevelle makes (and hopefully my Tbird soon) when the pedal is to the floor and the nose is pointing upward is like nothing else.  Nothing.
