Recommend a Band a song Thread

Thought this would be a cool way to bridge tastes with others.

Here is the idea, post a single artist and one favorite song by them, maybe say a few words about what makes it a special track to you.

One Band, one song, then some feedback from others about what they thought.

Here is my first selection, something more obscure, but a favorite artist of mine:

Ultravox!

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

I can honestly say I have never heard either of those selections until just now. 70's-80's country or rock is more my speed,  sure is hard to pick just one. Since I have a feeling classic county will go without much representation here, I'll go with Johnny Lee - Cherokee fiddle. Just a favorite, the song was also written by another favorite, Michael Martin Murphy.

Brantley Gilbert- kick it in the sticks

Pretty good song for those of us that grew up in the country and kinda reminds us of what we do just a good tune all around

Faster coochcat; House of Pain.

Story of my young life...and the problems I had later because for a few years, the only guidance I had was from a pair of drunks.

It's a lesson that I will not allow my kids to learn the way that I did...
