All-Ford Carlisle June 2-4 Reply #32 – March 13, 2006, 09:21:40 PM I'm all about sleeping in my car hahahaa!!! It wouldn't have been the first time! It's rather relaxing actually.... put the moonroof back and sit and look up at the stars. Really relaxing (just as long as it's not raining)In order to get my projects completed I'll be out of money also. So hotel is out of the question, it's just too much for me at the moment. My father has been off work again after an accident at work when a double stacked tool chest full of craftsmen tools came rolling down a ramp at his plant and ran over his foot smashing all the bones in his left foot. I swear he has the worst luck! So I believe he is doubtful for Carlisle and maybe for CJ. So maybe I could get lucky and meet a hot ass chick at carlisle and then she could keep me company in the cougar.... ahh dreams can happen. Quote Selected
All-Ford Carlisle June 2-4 Reply #33 – March 13, 2006, 10:39:33 PM A little hint. Don't go to Expedia or Orbitz to find a room. I found that the rate for the Super 8 I'm at is listed for 130 a night there. On Super 8's website, I think it was listed for like 90 a night for the same time. There's also a Best Western thats about 20 miles out thats a bit cheaper. I did that in '04 and the place was great but for a few bucks more, I figured I'd just stay closer this year.I think my total for the weekend will be around $245 including gas. Not including food though or parts :D Considering I missed it last year and the year before that, I only went two days and now I'm doing all three, I think its worth it.Steve, just don't have any "dreams" about that hot ass chick while you're sleeping in your Cougar :giggle: Quote Selected
All-Ford Carlisle June 2-4 Reply #34 – March 13, 2006, 11:11:28 PM NO way man.... haha I figure something out. I would much rather spend 200 in some new parts rather then 200 on sleeping on a spring matress. I'll go hobo for a night no biggy. I'm going to preregister tomorrow. Quote Selected

All-Ford Carlisle June 2-4 Reply #42 – March 16, 2006, 11:47:29 PM Notice I said "if I decide..."Just wondering if anyone would be willing to split a room however, I am leaning toward making the round trips. Coming home allows me to clean the car, not have to pack for the whole weekend, unload any purchases, sleep in my own bed, not have to leave my car in a public parking lot but rather my garage......I think I just convinced myself to come home every night if I go to the show this year. Now I just have to decide if I'm even going. I booked in January and had to settle for a 30 minute drive from the hotel to the fairgrounds. Quote Selected

It's just a 20-25 minute drive down an interstate so it's an easy drive. Quote Selected
