Think I saw one of them earlier today. It didn't phase me until the thing was driving away from me and already at a distance.

Nice pics, but I oh so hate B&W :shakehead

It's not bad.. but I'd really like to see all this Cougar speculation go somewhere and result in a new cat based on the horsey. :giggle:

And the funny thing is that this would be the ideal time to do it. Ford has the pony car market locked up. No Camaro, no Firebird, no Challenger, no Cuda, no Javelin. Just the Mustang. Ford could easily put another body on the Mustang chassis and not take away from Mustang sales. Just do a modern body. That way if people want retro they could buy a Mustang, if they want contemporary they could buy a Cougar.  But noooo. Ford will wait until GM releases a new F-Body, Mopar releases a new Charger (or Challenger, or whatever) and AMC is resurrected and builds a new Javelin (OK, that last one isn't likely) and then say "the market is too crowded for a Cougar".

...But back on topic, I saw my first 05 GT yesterday and it was niiiiiiice...

When I saw my first '05 I almost drove off the road, it was on a semi trailer with some trucks heading the opposite direction on the highway (I was on a side road) still have yet to go to the dealer and sit in one though. got tomorrow (uhh, today I guess, should probabally go to sleep...) off so I might stop by and gather some brochures :deal:

I saw 3 or 4 on the road this past weekend, including that pea-green color. A few weeks ago I saw AND heard a new GT for the first time. WOW, does that thing ever sound awesome. I don't think there's been a Mustang that's sounded that good from the factory since the late '60's. And CDC had their ultra-cool GT at the swap meet this past weekend. How about a full glass roof?! That's a nice body style from the factory, and CDC is about the only aftermarket company doing anything tasteful. Anyway, nice pix Alex!

Did a walk around a V6, last friday. They are so much nicer in person. I've really got a spot for this car, and I hate mustangs. I'm still waiting to see a GT.

i saw one for the first time a week ago.  They look way way better inperson than on paper or the internet.  They are way cool.

I like the idea of being able to customize the color of the dash lighting like that.
