Cougar for Sale

I have a 1985 mercury cougar I am trying to sell. I was thinking about selling it in the newspaper or on the street, but I wouyld really like to sell it to someone who respects cougars and will take care of their new car. I replaced the tranny last year and have done some interior work on it. It has a cd player and new speakers which priced at $400 all together. The speakers are a year old and the head unit is new. I replaced the old steering wheel with a new racing wheel. The interior bezels has been changed from wood to the aluminum brushed bezels (from the turbo coupe). Also I tinted out the rear windows to 5%(new jersey state regulations) and put nice seat covers on the seats to preserve their age. The last owner blessed me with a macco job and I have had to replace the door from the wonderful rust the paint job prevented. I would love to keep this car, but beings that I am a college student my first priority is money. Also I was given my grandfathers car which is newer and suits my needs better.I have also replaces mechanical things like the ler, tailpipe, battery, battery wires, voltage regulator, alternator, and instrument cluster. When changing the instrument cluster i bought a cluster with more miles on it though. It reads 171,500 when in actuality the car actually only has 125,000 miles on it. The oil has been changed since I have had the car and I even put in lucas petroleum and fuel cleaner every oil change. Plugs have two pr0nged bosch's on them and new wires also. Tune up was about 3,000 miles ago. All in all It is a good car and will run for years to come. It only needs a paint job to look totally mint. I am asking $1500 obo and can answer any questions anyone has.  Please reply if there is any interest.  Must sell!!!
