marker-running lights

anyone know the configuration of lights on the front of an 87 cougar? I know the center two are a discontinued bulb - but sure something else works.
i believe center two are amber? marker/turn are white? turn on fenders is amber? is this correct?:D

The side of fender lamps are white. The center ones are the turn signal (should be 1157a bulbs?) And outside are just regular 168/194 bulbs.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Info is as close as your owners manual...

Probably same 2458NA used in T-Bird, somehow I doubt they've been discontinued but 3157NA are readily available...

I think I ran the 3157a which is a lot more common.

The only real important part is the base socket and the color. Make sure the light bulb isn't too long and doesnt melt the housing. It pretty much has to all but touch to do that

Take the light bulb in with you to any auto parts store and they can help ya out. Most have bulb interchange charts. None of the turn or tail light bulbs are rare.

originally on either side of your grille those bulbs are yellow.,, and for some reason were 1157 type.  i never understood why but ,,,,
i run white lights in there.

with the hi beam / lo beam flash to pass relay mod, you can get more light up front.,, just fyi.  when i am on low beam thats it, they are low beam.
when i am on high beam both low an hi elements are in the game.
