The top of the tires were pretty much even with the wheel well lip. You have an 84 which has less "junk in the trunk" than the 87 to 88 cars so it may not sink as much.
88 Thunderbird LX: 306, Edelbrock Performer heads, Comp 266HR cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, bunch of other stuff.
