@1badbird I'm in Indiana and would gladly take it off your hands... Just think of all the money you'd save not having to pay storage fees.;)

Yeah, I noticed, I figured there are lots of Cougar enthusiasts here in general though and the MN12 is not all that different from the fox platform. Just a little longer and they changed the sheet metal slightly. It's still front engine rear wheel drive up till the 8th generation. Then they ruined the Cougar name with front wheel drive.

You obviously have never REALLY looked at a Fox and MN-12 Tbird/Cougar. COMPLETELY different platform.

Ah ok, I really never looked that close. I thought Ford would have kept it pretty much the same being both were so close in layout and design the MN-12 is just 9 or 10 inches longer in the rear legroom area. Does the sixth gen have fully independent rear suspension like the seventh gen? I know the engines and transmissions were pretty much the same except they went from carburetor to fuel injection around that time. I do know the 8th gen is WAY different, they went to front wheel drive and in my opinion kinda lost touch with what the Cougar was supposed to be, after all it started life as a luxury sports car... There is nothing sporty or luxurious about the 8th gen. Probably why there was not a 9th gen.
