which one of these should I buy? August 26, 2014, 03:31:49 PM Both are 3.8's with the 3 speed. I have been talking off and on with the owner of the 86, but he's over 2 hrs away. The 85 is about an hour away, and I can take the train down there. http://chicago.craigslist.org/wcl/cto/4636396289.htmlhttp://madison.craigslist.org/cto/4613803321.html Quote Selected
which one of these should I buy? Reply #1 – August 26, 2014, 05:34:32 PM It looks like the car in Madison needs less bodywork at least from the only side that is shown. The other one looks like it has major rust. Make sure that you check underneath for frame rust on whatever you buy. It seems like a lot of the foxbody's had major rust problems underneath. Both cars are really cheap and will require quite a bit of work. Sometimes it is worth it to pay more and get better shape although the Madison car looks pretty solid on the outside. It's worth a look especially if you can find a junkyard close by to acquire parts that you might need. Good luck with whatever you do. Herb Quote Selected

which one of these should I buy? Reply #12 – August 27, 2014, 08:35:50 PM I'd say pass on all of them. Considering I paid $800 for this two years ago: http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?34909-Now-we-have-4-cars-floating-around&highlight=mark+vii Quote Selected
which one of these should I buy? Reply #13 – August 28, 2014, 08:39:23 AM If you already have a car to drive then I am with thunderjet302, pass on all of these as they are going to require a lot of work. I liked the Sport but that porno red interior is not something I like so I would pass quickly on that one.Darren Quote Selected
