I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Meh....... Never had a problem with him personally. I appreciate a lot of what he says. He just comes across rough sometimes in which it's very hard to judge someones personality with typed words. I know there are people out there that know way more than I do and I might know more than others on some things. He's just trying to help and I like him for that, actually I like everyone on here. :beatyoass: (hehehehe)

Well thanks guys as i am learning social graces after a bout with clogged heart arteries. It made me think that people are people they have families kids grand kids etc. We all have hard ships at times and and who the hell am i to criticize people. I actually looked at Stacks kids and 50 grand daughter in a recent post and they were adorable  and it made me think what a jack ass i can be. Because that is what it is all about. I was buying a swing set for my grand daughter and it dawned on me that i had a bad attitude and that was NG. It also made me think that everyone is basically good and i had an attitude as cooglin pointed out. So i apologize for being an ASS and i am grateful i can help. And glad the moderators gave me a second chance. And the lord was good to me as he spared me his presence. Tom JR just had his intestines burst and almost died last month and that was hard for me to take. So in the walk of life i have to thank God i am lucky and i promise God i will not  be a  ANY MORE.  Have a great weekend Guys.

Nicely said Tom, it takes a good man with a big heart to admit that kind of thing publicly. I admire your courage.  Nobody is perfect, and we all fail at certain things in life. Humility is a learned skill, and sharing knowledge via a phone call or PM can be just as effective if you really are trying to help, as opposed to proving you are right to everyone.  We are all just a bunch of Fathers, sons, brothers and husbands after all, and cars are great and fun, but people are what matter most in this life.  Its nice to see your awakening to that.  Best of luck and good health to you.

David

Nobody is perfect, we're all here to learn and such. Hope y'all enjoy great health from here on Tom. We've had some less than pleasant words in the past as well, but a few PM's between he and I and those are things of the past.

Life is too short to waste on negativity and hateful thoughts of others, unless they truly deserve it. Tom has been there and done that, and hopefully stays "doing that" for a long time. :)
May we all do the same.

It certainly does mine. The worse the weather, the worse the cursing. And there has been a lot of cursing this year...

We had a lot of ed cold during the winter, we need some more ed rain, and it's going to be ed hot soon.

I can actually speak whole, complete, and intelligible sentences without breathing so much as one cuss word....but it usually involves the promise of bodily harm, or women or children close by to accomplish that.

And usually idiot-assed drivers will leave me swearing for hours, often very suddenly when all was thought to be calm again. Like piss-stain left-lane creepers!

@ 302 well be advised that getting pissed does one thing and one thing only. It puts tremendous strain on your heart. I know all about that now. Been to a few classes on heart issues since my endevors with my heart. When you get pissed off your body produces these little razor like enzimes or whatever they are and they actually cut the inside of your arteries. Then the Plack has a place to grab on to. then the ballgame starts and if you are unlucky like me the plack builds up and then the issues. So forget the BS it is meaningless and just have a good time cursing you favorite spots. The dummies will always be there. Just ignore them and laugh it off as i do now. Have a great Sunday guys. Now i am going CRUSING with JR and headed out to  Starbucks coffee and cars. Talk with the guys and look at great cars and also the LADIES!!! Hay i might be old but my eyes still work real good. thanks guys
