I put that sucker in today and man oh man I cant wait to get the engine finished so I can actually drive it. that 5 speed shifter just looks so natural in there. I hope that tremec does what im hoping for.

What model is that?  It looks like a BorgWarner T-5.  I would love to come across a 3650 to swap in place of my T-45.  Whats the rest of your drive train??

it came out of a 95 mustang that had an old school 302 with an edelbrock carb and intake on it, I pulled the edelbrock chrome valve covers off for a lil dress up on mine. it looked like it had blown a head gasket, milkshake on top of the heads... but to answer your ??? im not sure of the model but it had tremec stamped all over it didn't really look at the others stamps. and im just gonna use the clutch and pressure plate that was attached to it for now until I get it up and running decent, and I used my stock driveshaft and rearend for now also. I just want it running then I can swap some stuff around until I find my magic combo.but I will try to find the # on it in the daylight and let you know.

I had a 351w swapped into a fox body stang, ran a used clutch for a year just because I was running low on funds.  Daughter number one 4 and Daughter number 2 was on the way, cash was low so.........  We all have run substandard parts at one time or another out of necessity. Is your 5liter injected or carb?
