Need TV cable.

Does anyone have a TV cable for an 87/88 5.0? A friend of mine just picked up his first tbird and the part that clips onto the throttle body is broken. I don't want him to burn up his tranny.

I was under the impression the way they connect to the throttle body was different from a mustang

86-88 5.0 are identical to 87-93 stangs. older cfi setups were also basically the same as the same year stangs.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

cfi systems engaged the transmission by a drivers side TV rod which was sorta S shaped.
