Is it AWD??? My good racer friend has one for a daily driver...AWD...nice ride. The 4L70E is just a beefed up 4L60E...so 4500lb of truck and 400HP can destroy them. It went 14.4 bone stock with 101k on it.

lmao. maybe off the line but my high 14 sec focus svt can hold one off on the highway ok. My little na 4.6 mustang will walk one of those fat pigs no prob consistently as well.

yeah, my buddies 741hp procharged (only)2012 boss 302 and my others 2013 kb 800+ hp gt500 is just shameful and embarrassing. and I thought my little NA mustang was doing ok beating up un my uncles factory 01 shiznitbox vette.

Those TBSS' are fast but I'd lean towards a Srt8 Jeep myself. Ford needs to step up and make a 500hp+ Explorer, "EXPLORER SVT" now that would be awesome (yeah the Raptor is kinda it but it's a truck)

Here we go..another g contest.

But yeah, if I took my mountaineer, with a good stock Explorer 5.0, threw in an HO cam, and slapped a procharger on it, I KNOW it would smoke one of those tbss.

Less weight, awd, and good gearing. not saying your macho suv isn't fast, but it IS a fat sumbitch. You can't deny what a 5.0 with some positive air pressure can do...or else you wouldn't be here in the first place....unless you get off on baiting threads exactly like this.

And I don't give a about that jeep abortion...yeah, anything should be fast with 500 horsepower, but it's like a Glock pistol...it's ugly. Don't know why they have mass appeal.

It's an SUV for crissakes, of COURSE its going to have some weight to it. I got it cuz it's cool, quick and you dont see one everyday, same reason I have a tbird instead of a Mustang. And comparing a Focus to a TBSS is rather foolish, dontcha think?

Of course, if a car can beat an SUV with half the engine and only a third less weight, well, that's cool too.

Enjoy the truck it is a bad ASS RIDE. GOOD LUCK WITH IT.

The SRT is very cool but some will say the 11 MPG Average is a bit much.

Nice ride 24 the truck is beautiful.

Thx Tom. I am looking at that 440 kit you mentioned. Gas is only @$2 a gallon here so no one gives a about mileage LOL
