OMG I bought a Chevy

But a cool one.  Its an 08 Trailblazer SS.  Its got the 6.0 vette motor and hauls ass.  I just but a magnaflow exhaust on and it sounds great.

I spent all day in a trailblazer yesterday. It was...okay, the lack of power was rather annoying. I'll bet the SS is a little more fun in the get-up-'n-go area.

The one we drove was mushy, plasticy, seats sucked, but it was roomy for 2 adults, and 2 kids, plus our mini-vacation gear.

It actually rode decently, but I felt like it needed a little firmer, better road feel. What's the reliability factor on them?

And what's with those gold colored openings in the lower valance? definitely does not fit in with the overall scheme lol

It means DO NOT MESS WITH THIS TRUCK. Or you will be very familiar with it's TAIL LIGHTS!!!

Has a factory rating of 390 hp and 395 lb-ft of Torque

With a tune and cam swap  they make tuns of HP

I have my eye on one as we speak. Trannys do not hold up very well

yeah, the gold trim WAS chrome...I will be putting that back ASAP.  The suspension is different than the stockers.  These were tuned on the nurenburg ring...slightly lowered, sport tuned, etc.  I rides fantastic, I took it up this Mountain called Jebel Hafeet in the UAE.  I made a py phone vid of it, a bit long, but it was fun.....

YES LS2 motor.  Us chevy guys know them very well.

Same motor as the 2005-2007 VETTE.  (very slight differences)

I love those!
Although, I myself would rather buy the Pontiac G8. Furious sedan! Absolutley love the G8! :D
But the TBSS is definetly a fast soccermom car ;)

I actually like those TBSS's. I let the wife see the pics of it. She liked it as well except for.......the gold. All she said about that was "EWWWW Why Gold?? There's nothing that the gold ties into!"

Makes me want to rebuild the 5.0 in my Mounty, slap on a Procharger, and go beat one up with ease.. :D

NOT IN YOUR WILDEST DREAMS. That truck stock runs High thirteens 100% stock and if it is all wheel drive your do not have a chance!!! just me could be wrong!!!!

Fascinating how ford engines need PRESSURE to beat a NA CHEVY. Things never change. just saying!!!

I did not compare then someone else did. The LS has been out for years. Ford always needs wind to make HP This is a fact. Other than the new Ford engines that ROCK.

We recently sampled SLP Performance's TrailBlazer SS 440 PerformancePac. Its name, as you would imagine, refers to the 440-horse power rating. The ingredients include a low-restriction air filter, a set of 1.85-ratio rocker arms (stock is 1.70); a lower-temperature, 160-degree thermostat, and a stainless PowerFlo exhaust. Also included is a DiabloSport handheld tuner with SLP's custom tune.

What can i say my friends and i build CHEVYS. But SLP was just bought out by ROUSH. So mustangs will be flowing out of there doors
