E bay Reply #16 – December 28, 2012, 08:20:43 AM I've bought Tons of car parts off of the bay over the past 8 years. Never had a problem even once, with ebay or anyone trying to screw me over. My only problem has been with Paypal keeping my money for up to 21 days after I sold something, even though I have a perfect 250+ seller feedback score. Total BS, and is only a scam to hold onto your money for longer so that they can collect on the additional interest during that time. Quote Selected

E bay Reply #18 – December 28, 2012, 09:01:45 AM Thanks guys i get really frustrated when i cant do things like this. It makes me NUTS. I tried to log on like 30times and asked them for a lost pass word. So what do you think happened. They asked me for the pass word to get another one. HELLOW DUMB ASS if i had the pass word i would not be asking to get another one that i forgot. I THINK!!! Thanks guys i will pass on PAY PAL!!! Quote Selected
E bay Reply #19 – December 28, 2012, 10:00:59 AM They are supposed to send the forgotton password to the email address you signed up with. That's how they can be sure they aren't giving it out to someone who isn't you. Quote Selected
E bay Reply #20 – December 28, 2012, 06:02:33 PM Yes Brian that is what they do. But your user ID is needed and they keep telling me to include it also. I lost that also. Or it changes as i write it down on a piece of paper and it does not work. Then they ask me for my fathers first name. I answer that and i go NO WHERE. So what i do is log on as new all the time but i am running out of E MAIL ADDRESSES. Well i am going to try it again wish me LUCK thanks for listening to my RANT!! Quote Selected

E bay Reply #23 – December 28, 2012, 10:56:52 PM Once you get your username/password issue sorted, get a small USB thumbdrive, make a text document on it, and keep all your users/PW's on it...I do, and if I lose or forget a login, or after I've cleared my cookies, or switch to a different computer, I just stab it in, pull it, cut and paste, and go on. You can buy one from any wal mart for less than 15 bucks, you can also throw some tunes on there and have something to listen to while you're ebaying or whatnot.Plus, being able to cut and paste the proper login info saves time, getting emails, tracking shiznit down, etc.Edit: don't EVER save personal info on a computer that some one else can get to and exploit. THAT'S why my shiznit is on a thumbdrive and it almost always stays with me. Keys, phone, gun, and thumbdrive, these things I never leave the house without having on me.Call me paranoid....I call it being prepared. Oh, and add a knife and a bottle of water to that list as well. Quote Selected
E bay Reply #24 – January 01, 2013, 12:38:31 PM Used to love buying and selling on Ebay, but now I just pickup some deals every so often. Even though forums don't get as much viewers, I have had much better luck selling on them. Quote Selected
E bay Reply #25 – January 01, 2013, 12:53:29 PM YEP always carry my Glock. But that will change shortly with the shooting in NEWTOWN. The Gun Grabbers are hard at work planning to take them. This time us gun guys will suffer the misdoing of a nutty women who let he kid have access to an AR15. With that i have one of those little buggers and have no clue how to use it. I asked my daughter several times to help me but she babbles the procedure and i for the life of me cant use it. Best explained is it would be like me bringing a 4 door slant six torque flite Dodge Dart to a car show. Quote Selected

They hold onto your money(like a bank) for 3-4 weeks after you sell an item, collect interest, and you don't get anything out of it. It's made to protect the buyer, yeah right my ass. This isn't true at all. I've received over $1000 in small payments in the last two months and I spend it down almost daily with a Paypal issued Mastercard. The only time there's any kind of delay is if someone pays with an E-check and it's been almost a year since I've received one of those (and I've received 100+ payments in that time).I'm shocked that in 2013 there are still any naysayers over electronic payments and electronic sales in general. The fees are part of doing business. The ONLY delays I've ever had has been when someone pays by e-check. Other than that, I have the money transferred to my bank account and available in a couple days. Quote Selected
E bay Reply #29 – January 04, 2013, 08:18:10 PM I've been on ebay since Jan/2000 as a buyer and seller ( 531 Posi-Feedback!) And there have been some odd or annoying occurrences, But mostly good besides the ever increasing charges/fees for sellers.Paypal on the other hand has been a huge pain in my ass on many occasions...Right now they want me to send a photo copy of MY SSN, ID and Proof of Residence... Yea... Not gonna happen Paypal. :shakeass:They actually "Limited" my account pretty much entirely right now because I wont. Quote Selected
