I use eBay all the time. I like using PayPal. Its the safest way to pay online. Over the years I've had a couple issues where sellers stiffed me, but luckily I paid with PayPal and got fully refunded.

The whole Paypal thing is a big scam, if you're a seller, imo. They hold onto your money(like a bank) for 3-4 weeks after you sell an item, collect interest, and you don't get anything out of it. It's made to protect the buyer, yeah right my ass.

Ebay is good for buyers, but they blow fat balls for the seller.

Tom Renzo....sounds like your account may have been hacked....that kinda thing happens on evilbay, time to time.

Yeah, I mostly sell on craigslist now because there's no fees, but I am constantly buying things on eBay.

I've bought a lot of stuff on ebay with no problems, I never have had any problems with pay pal.  I have never sold anything on ebay though so I can't say anything on that
