Not sure what you mean by "The way he called the kid out". Perhaps you have a better way to fix this. I'm all ears. I contacted him before I sent the payment in the fashion he asked for, when he asked for it. I asked for a tracking number to be passed along so I could track the package and be ready to receive it so it didn't have to sit on the porch while I was gone. He stated his mother would ship it. Fine with me. I waited. After a period of time passed, no word. I contacted him through PM. he said he'd check on it. I waited. I contacted him again, and he stated the box was in the trunk of the car, and he'd ship it. I waited. I contacted him again, and he said he would ship it the next day. I asked for tracking. I waited. he stated he sent it 4 days before he left for Florida. Still no tracking in that period of time. He told me the tracking slip was in the console. He would have a guy at the shop where the car was, check it out for him. Nothing. No voluntary updates, no info unless I chased him down for it. At least not until I posted this thread. I still had to find him on Facebook. I'm waiting. It's been about a month since I made payment. I have been patient. I'm still hoping for the best.
If the package was "returned to the shop", I'd still like to have that tracking info that was on the original receipt. That will answer everything. I have a long history here of not bashing people, or getting into conflicts. After some methods of info seeking don't work, one has to try other options, thus, this thread. If it all works out, I'll have no hard feelings, I won't want Shadow to leave, and we can all move along, lock this thread, and continue on with what we do with these cars, and our forum. All this is for is information seeking, and settling an issue that started here on the forum, as this is where the deal was made. if we made the deal on the Corral, then it would be handled there, not here. Yes, sometimes things happen that are way out of our control. I lived that with my selling "adventure" a long time ago. I made it right, as that was the right thing to do, and my responsibility, and have probably sold more here than anyone. This thread was not intended to be an insult. A few here now have had some selling "issues", got them worked out, and we all moved on. As I said, sometimes stuff happens. Poor mail delivery, seller just didn't get around to shipping when he said he would, whatever. That's not the issue. It's how you handle it that is the important part. It's been about a month.and I'm waiting. I'm not calling for anyone to be banned, or punished. I myself thought I have handled this fairly. if somebody thinks different, I'm wide open to listen to your difference of opinion, and what you would do if it were your situation. I can always learn new things, and am, by no means, perfect, nor do I claim to have all the right answers. I can be as wrong as anyone.
Shame, I do appreciate your post, and have no issues with that at all. Like you said, fair is fair, and I do agree with that.
