awesome neighbor

My DD 88TC went tits up and I've been using my wife's car for about a month now for work, til i get it fixed.  Well I have this neighbor, he's a retired b-52 pilot, and I work on his cars, while my wife cooks them dinner 3 times a week.  He came up too me last week proposing that he loan me $5K to buy a new car with.  I am like thx, but I dont help you out to expect anything back.  He insists and we discuss what to buy as he is thinking something classic that will appreciate later.  I tell him about fox bodied mustangs and we strike a deal.  I found a sweet convert and dude brings over 5k in cash.  I dont know what to say, except that it's the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me.  Here is what i got.....man I looooove 5.0 convert mustangs as much as TC's.  I've had 3  and this thing is sweeeeet.  I drove over 300 miles to get it and drove it 300 miles home in the same day.  Had a couple old dudes comment on it, but the best was some hot college spring break girls from Utah taking pics as we were going 90 mph across I-10!  God Bless sweet ass neighbors and I will pass the kindness on fo shizzle.

apparently all the trim was body color from the factory, but someone painted it black....not sure if i would like that much red.  Aldo, he swapped in 2.73 gears which means i got 26mpg at 80, but i am gonna put 3.55's in it.  If anyone knows where to fing a nice used GT body kit, lemme know!

And I've some mark VII size rotors and calipers for the front over here... I think there's even a hydroboost master cylinder in that box. All just sitting there since I sold my 'Bird.

Just sayin' ;)
