Forum software March 25, 2012, 04:49:41 PM I haven't been able to read this site since the software was upgraded. The low contrast light writing or grey background options offered make it so I have too much trouble differentiating the thread titles from the other text. Just thought I'd mention that since I haven't posted here in a while. Quote Selected

Forum software Reply #10 – May 24, 2012, 06:53:14 PM Heh - I just came back to see if anybody responded to this. I administer a forum so I know all about the different skins available. In fact, on my site I spent considerable time taking input from people to get the text size and contrast right as this can effect how new people adapt to one's site. Not sure if it's been changed since I last posted, but the black text w/white background I see now seems OK to read. Quote Selected
Forum software Reply #11 – May 24, 2012, 08:44:35 PM I hand-made all the skins for this board and haven't touched them in several years.Soooooo...don't know what to tell you.Upgrade your browser? Browser settings? Different browser?I deal with HTML, CSS and browser interaction every day of my life. Things are getting better, definitely, and more cross-platform. But sometimes you get annoyances that maybe one browser has over all others (coughcoughIEcoughcough) and you have to make special code to dance around it. Not really so much for this board, though. It's fairly compliant for all browsers. Quote Selected
Forum software Reply #12 – May 25, 2012, 11:22:21 AM Dunno really - I guess I just don't particularly like this forum software and it's default style - personal preference. It's kind of pastel-like and the thread icons are oversized and goofy looking with default skin. I had no luck at all with readability using any of the alternate skins. I seem to recall the text being lighter with a greyer background - thus my issue with contrast. Perhaps that was using one of the alternate styles cause it's "OK" using the default style. I guess I'm just more of a critic after all the I went through with people g and moaning about readability on my website. Oh, and I was used to what we had previously. Quote Selected
