Thanks Stangman.  Yea, V8's do look really good in these cars.  I had some custom solid mounts made up, because my Mac longtube primaries are so close to the k-memeber on the passenger side and the steering shaft on the driver's side.  The collector s are also close enough to the floor pan to warrant concern.  An added benefit of the solid mounts is the fact that the engine is now low enough in the bay to leave 3/4" of clearance between the driver's side hood scoop and the upper A/C compressor bracket.  Now I can install a nice hood liner without worrying about having enough room for it.  Since this car is a toy, I won't mind it if the solid mounts cause more vibrations than stock.  Some guys who run them claim that they didn't experience much in the way of extra vibrations.  I'll just wait and see about that though.

I had solids in my 351W Ranger......rattled the exhaust loose weekly!!  But could almost get daylight under the left, front tire when I launched her hard!!  ;)
1988 T-Bird Sport Coupe--5.0 HO, MAF swap, 1-5/8" shorties, BBK/Flowmaster exhaust, Explorer intake, 70mm Edelbrock TB, T5, B&M short throw, Centerforce clutch and PP, disc brake TC rear w/ 3.55's, TC front brakes, '98 Cobra springs, DIY SFC's, other misc .  14.05 @ 98mph with launching too low and shifting too high.

this is what you'll get, you will have to take your stock one and flip it over and trace out the a/c vents.
