FR500 Steering wheel question

I saw an FR500 steering wheel (part#24009) for sale . Will it fit my 87 Cougar ? The ad says for 1990+ Mustangs .

Well 90 up is when the stangs got air bags, so possibly the steering shaft is different, but thats just a guess

Where did you find it and how much? If it's cheap, It's worth buying either way. I know I want one. It's probably not worth keeping unless you really, really want one. They are currently going for a premium on certain mustang sites, anywhere from a somewhat sane 300 bucks all the way up to a grand.

Has anybody tried ordering one? Regardless, even at that price even if they ARE available it's not something I'd waste my money on. I've felt them. Thay are nice but not THAT nice.

It doesn't come with the air bag cover either. I think the newer Mustangs steering shafts are different.

Probably. Fairly likely the cruise control stuff is different as well. I forget what all the clock springs look like.
