Looks like it hit a tree or a barrier of some kind at a high rate of speed by the shape of the......damage. Holy . I'd like to have that trunk lid.

The fuel door will!! That thing is twisted bad.

I'm surprised those wire hubcaps stayed on through an impact like that.
'88 'bird, 10.9:1 306 w/TFS top end, forged rods/pistons, T-5 swap & bunch of other stuff, 1-family owned, had it since ‘98, 5.0tbrd88 on Instagram and YouTube

hmm.. i might have some 3M compound that'll bring that baby back to showroom condition! on a serious note.. i hope noone was in the passenger seat, otherwise they more than likely didn't make it..
