1985 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe October 15, 2010, 07:55:37 PM Well, it pains me to do so, but the time has come to sell one of the cars from the fleet. I really want to see this go to an enthusiast that can appreciate it. This is not the kind of car that should ever be driven in the winter. It's way to nice! Asking $4000 or best offerPM me if interestedCar is located in Livonia, MISPECIFICATIONSMileage: 55,XXX MilesEngine: 2.3L I-4 TurboTransmission: 5 Speed Manual (T5)Exterior Color: Black ClearcoatInterior Color: Grey ClothFactory Options: Cornering Lamps, Illuminated Entry, Power Driver seat, Premium Sound system w/ power antenna, Power windows/locks/trunk/fuel doorHISTORY- 3rd owner (Currently owned by a Ford Engineer). All original and loaded with the primary options offered.- Exterior has no major damage but has a few very small paint chips on the front, a dent (no paint damage) on the passenger fender and some thin areas from being polished so much! Superb for a 25 year old car. The paint still has an excellent shine. Absolutely no sheet metal rust (8.5 out of 10).- Interior is in excellent condition (9 out of 10). Only issues are some wear on the driver's seat edge from ingress/egress.- Powertrain is 100% original. 85.5 style engine so it has the "4-square" intake and brown top injectors. No modifications at all.- Have much of the original documentation: Window Sticker, Owners manuals and warranty books, warranty card- Basically you are looking at superb example of a Thunderbird Turbo Coupe from the 1980's. This car was never raced or wrecked, and was never winter driven. The doors close perfect and solid and the seats feel very firm; no foam deterioration. Frankly, it is probably one of the nicest all original Turbo Coupes left in the country. All systems work perfectly except that the A/C needs to be re-charged.MAINTENANCEWhile I owned it, it was maintained exclusively using OEM Ford Motorcraft parts. Oil changes consisted of synthetic oil and a Ford Motorcraft oil filter. The following was completed within the last 1,000 miles:- Oil and Filter change- New Distributor Cap and Rotor- New Spark Plug Wires- New rear axle pinion seal- New Fuel Filter- New PCV ValveISSUES- Dent on the passenger fender (no paint damage at all). I am going to have a paintless dent repair service check it out, so this may get fixed prior to the sale.- Wear on the driver's side seat edge from ingress/egress- Very small hole in the package tray (the previous owner had an aftermarket CHMSL installed. I removed it and have original style '86-'88 CHMSL parts that can be installed if you desire)- Small holes in the shifter panel trim surround (original owner had a cup holder mounted here)- Small screw at top of door speaker grille (tab was broken)- Small holes in the headlamp bezels where brackets for the aftermarket headlamp covers were installed- A/C systems needs to be recharged (original R12. Has not been converted)EXTRAS- Front end protective cover made by Le Bra- Basic cloth car cover- Clear "aero" style headlight coversEXTERIORhttp://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC05270.jpg http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC05266.jpg http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC05265.jpg http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC05264.jpg http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC05263.jpg http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC05262.jpg http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC05255.jpg http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC05254.jpg DOcumENTATIONhttp://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC08172.jpg http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC08171.jpg http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC08169.jpg http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC08168.jpg http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC08166.jpg http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC08173.jpg INTERIORhttp://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC05286.jpg http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC05283.jpg http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC05281.jpg http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC05280.jpg http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC05277.jpg http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC05276.jpg http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC05275.jpg http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC05274.jpg http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC05273.jpg http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC05272.jpg http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC05271.jpg http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC05287.jpg ENGINEhttp://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC08174.jpg FENDER DENThttp://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af85/tbirdtc/DSC05269.jpg Quote Selected

Post some pictures of the passenger side of the car as well, even though there is a dent, potential buyers would still like to see. Good luck with your sale, and again, awesome car. Quote Selected
