Wanted: 87/88 thunderbird turbo coupe

i'm in college for automotive technology and want to start a project. Would really like to find a 87 or 88 turbo coupe to have and keep for some cash of course. preferally not heavily modded, large amount of miles on the vehicle isnt to big of a deal as long as it runs halfway descent, i would like to find a 5 speed. if you can help let me know. thank you,
Tony
also, please don't think that i'm just some college kid wanting a car to beat the  out of. i'm wanting to find this vehicle for long term use, and will respect the car. not go race it against highschool kids for kicks and giggles

Thank you,
I am really looking for a manual transmission though. Even though that price is pretty ideal.

The thunderbird I was looking at didn't pan out well and was sold to someone else. Once I scrounged up the rest of the cash it was sold. So I am looking again for a 87/88 thunderbird turbo coupe, preferably 5 speed. all help is greatly appreciated. :)

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Let me know if you need anything if you make it out this way. I was very interested in the car as well, but I need another thunderbird like a hole in the head. I live in west valley and could maybe even help you set something up. Send me a PM for my phone number if you need anything. I could maybe even go look at it for you and get some better pictures.
