'Practical" has no place with this stuff.Practical is keeping the stock 8 hole,14" wheels.everything stock on these cars,no mods.If you want practical, this thread isn't it,and my Sport is far from it as well. It''s awesome to have something you may never see again in any other Thunderbird or Cougar. Not to say it won't happen, but the odds are,you won't see one.

Maybe my wording was bad...............

Of course I think this is a cool upgrade for your car Vinnie, it's just a shame you can't ride around with the needle up into those "crooked" numbers too often as a bonus! :brick:

Would love to know the story behind this, Maybe its from a Pace Car or a mock up car or something and was supposed to be destroyed, but it escaped! lol.

I've thought about contacting BBK and see what they can tell me...if anything.I really think it's strange that it's the only one I've ever seen or heard of.I'd like to have some history on it.

HWY73....your wording is fine,I didn't take any offense.No worries.I like to hear all opinions.It's all good.No worries.

I'll put my 2.73's back in and see what the old girl can do.LOL.

I'm fine, just tired.Long week, plumbing issues at the house.Winter time and no hot water until tomorrow.3 days without it.Busted my watch crystal (need a new watch anyway.I've had the same Ecodrive Citizens watch for 11 years.).Tomorrow,I'll get her out and let the Sport run a little. It was good to just relax today.Glad I swapped the speedo yesterday when I did.About 10 minutes later, the rain poured, and it rained today as well.Supposed to snow AGAIN this week.Full report on the speedometer tomorrow.

That sucks V-man, hope you get your pipes fixed ASAP.
I too had a watch that got busted...a hood fell, and the latch/catch hit the crystal dead on...probably would've gouged my wrist up...my buddy gave me that watch, had some sentimental meaning to it. I still have it around somewhere...still works..or did until the battery finally went kaput.

Hope the speedo works as good as it looks, too!

The watch wasn't a big deal.It was expensive 11 years ago, but, that was 11 years ago.I've never had to put a battery in it,although I have had 5 crystals put in.I may put another one and keep it for when I'm working on the car.I'll grab a new watch this week....after the giant swap meet.I'm getting ready to take my little man to school, and I'll test the speedo.
