Here's a new pic of the speedo.....

As I stated in another thread,I have never sen one of these before, and never knew anyone but Ford made replacement speedometers for these cars.I'm unsure at this moment which one will be listed for sale.I would bet the BBK gauge is more rare than the FMS gauge. One of them will need a new home.I'll think about it.This one is a BBK............

I guess you'll have to weigh the "cool/unusual" factor vs. the practical side of it.  In everyday use, you would only utilize maybe 1/3 of the sweep, with the rest going to waste (maybe ;) )

'Practical" has no place with this stuff.Practical is keeping the stock 8 hole,14" wheels.everything stock on these cars,no mods.If you want practical, this thread isn't it,and my Sport is far from it as well. It''s awesome to have something you may never see again in any other Thunderbird or Cougar. Not to say it won't happen, but the odds are,you won't see one.

That´s definately cool find I would put in the sport if I were you and sell the 140 speedo. Cause I have reached 135 with my tbird and if project is done Im hoping to get some bigger numbers. But it´s uniq and almost nobody else have it. So you think what you like most and let the best one be in your sport.

I may swap the 190 into the Sport later today or tomorrow and then see how I like it.If I think I can adapt, the 140 will go on the old auction block minutes later.

......O.K.,I'm done.I'll test drive it tomorrow. The Honda and Beetle are behind my car,and I really don't feel like moving them.Update then, and the decision as to which speedo will have to find a new home.

I'll know tomorrow. If I do,it'll probably be $400.00 shipped in the lower 48 States. That covers the gauge (19,xxx miles on it),paypal costs, shipping, and packaging. That will turn most away, but,if I have to keep it because it won't sell, that's O.K. with me.It doesn't cost me to store it away.I've sold every one that I've had on ebay within two days (in a 7 day listing),and for more.If it goes to Ebay, the price will jump by $50.00 to cover their costs and PayPal.But it will sell.
