My score today

Well today (saturday)  I picked up front and rear swaybars, rack and pinion and hood from 88 turbocoupe for 100 bucks.  I do need to do some work on the hood.  it has some rust along the front 2 inches or so that ill need to sand down and repair but it shouldnt be all that bad.  now to make it fit my car with a 5.0 efi lol

To make it fit you should just have to grind the alt.  bracket down alittle bit.. I had to and the hood closes fine now.

We put a 5.0 with a Vortech on it into my son's project TC and we didn't have to modify it at all. The hood fit just fine. Oh, I take that back, we did remove the plastic duct work. That was it though.

Having said that, follow T-BirdX3's advice anyway. Close it very carefully the first few times, just to be safe.
