Nervous!

Welp,

I dropped the 85 XR-7 off at the body shop for it's paint job... Should take about a week. I am just having them repaint it black and charcoal like it was when it was new.

I put a new fender, hood, header panel, bumper core, and trunk lid on. I had another body shop pull it and make sure the unibody was straight.

I am nervous about how it's going to look. I can't wait to see it! :burnout:

Just a reminder, here's how it looked when I bought it:

That really looks sharp!! One question, how come you took it to a different body shop for the paint than you did for the straightening? No biggie, just wondering why the switch?

The body shop that painted it didn't have a frame rack, so they couldn't pull it. The shop that did have a frame rack only does insurance jobs (not cash customers), so he wasn't interested in painting it. He only did the frame work because a friend-of-a-friend hooked me up.

That's how I ended up with two different body shops :)

That makes total sense to me. And you ended up with an awesome job in the end, so again, your car really looks sharp!
