digital fule gage Reply #2 – October 23, 2009, 02:03:09 AM To change from an buttstuffog to a digital fuel gauge you have to change the sending unit in the tank. Otherwise your gauge will work backwards.buttstuffog sender- 60 to 86 ohms empty--8 to 12 ohms full.Digital sender- 9 to 12 ohms empty--154 to 161 ohms full. Quote Selected

digital fule gage Reply #4 – October 23, 2009, 02:37:56 PM the autometer ones say they are programable, 0 ohm empty, 280ohm full, id say either you'd need the stock didgital one, or call up summit and see if the electronic sender is with the gauge *usually is* Quote Selected

The programmable fuel gauge (autometer unit anyway) can be adjusted between 0 and 270 ohms. I used buttstuffog gauges (especially fuel) because of the cost savings. Quote Selected
