1987/1988 Thunderbird Windshield

The windshield is from an 87 Turbo Coupe. I know it will fit all 87/88 Birds, but I don’t know about Cougars or earlier birds. Either way, it is already out of the car and ready to go. $20

Did you use the E string method? Or did you find another wire that works?

I cheated. I bought a new windshield and had the glass company do it. lol. The installer even sounded surprised they got it out w/o breaking it. I had a local guy who wanted it, but he's not coming through, so it's up for sale.

My sport needs a crack-free windshield...wonder what shipping would be from you to me lol

I'd be more concerned with it not getting broken on the trip...the money for it is the lesser concern. Hmmm

Yeah.....the '88 TC I had, a friend jumped the gun and before I could help; ie, do it easier/safer/more gently had stuck a hacksaw blade, and promptly cracked the  thing. :punchballs:

Sucky thing was, it was a nice unbroken windshield...at least till he touched it.

I should've just had the glass guy come swap 'em for me. Them's the breaks though, live and learn.

BTW, just to demonstrate what my former friend capacity is:
He'd drive 50 miles, at maybe 10-12 mpg, to haul a ton of s.
He'd spend 75 dollars on gas, then collect for example 50 bucks from the s buyer. Then he'd tell me he made a profit. :hick:

When he asked me to ride along, (funny, he'd always ask AFTER payday...) I'd just have to smile and say no, lol.

He can kiss my glass, alluding to the topic of this thread lol.
