Are vent windows different doors?

As some of you may have read in a previous ? of mine I am having a issue with window channel runs for my 86 Cougar. I know of a 86 Cougar parts car that has full windows, not vents like mine. Are the channel runs the same(to the area of the vent) or are they different. I harvested a perfect dash with no cracks from this car and will go soon to check how the seals are if they are the same. Are the doors the same with or with out vents? Maybe I will just buy the doors?

To me they appear to be the same doors just divided. but I can't be 100% certain.

What else on this parts car you found is usable? I may also need some stuff for my 85.

Vent windows were literally bolted onto "regular" doors. Very few unique parts were needed to accommodate them, but the window channel run was one.

Check Zach's thread about making a Tempo/Topaz window channel run work on Cougars and T-Birds with vent windows:

Eric, do you know anyplace that has the Tempo/Topaz runs available. I had read that and thought that sounded the best alternative, then realized no yards around me had those cars either.

Jerry. let me know what you are after and I can look when I go this week. All I know about the car was it belonged to a old man who just got tired of it. The guy with the yard is a friend of mine and he actually drove the car to where it sits now.  When I got the dash out of it I pulled it forward a bit to allow wide open doors. It is just a base car, nothing fancy

Jerry;
  I went to the jy today and I think even you would not be able to salvage this car. It seems someone felt compelled to beat on it with who knows what. The window run channels were shot also so no luck there either. But I did find a 92 2 door tempo and got them from it
