Look at the new front ride height!! The weight reduction put it right up where I want it. I'll bet it came up almost 1/2".

Looks like a stock TC that's a year old. A nice bonus in my mind. I know a lot of guys like 'em lower, but this looks good to me.

That's what I did too. I built the relay board, then the stim, then the MS. (Actually I built a DIY wideband O2 unit as the first crack at soldering.)

It's fun, but it was more fun before my near vision started to get worse. Now I need glasses and a magnifying glass. lol

Get a set of 'helping hands' they are great and I use them all the time for things other than soldering.

It's kind of like getting a drink from a fire hose at first, but ask questions, read, and search and you'll be OK.

I'm going to get some kind of conformal coating on my boards from now on. I don't want to have them corrode like was happening on the 'bird.

I took the car out for some more tuning. It seemed to be missing a bit, so I popped the hood with it running when I got back. I had arcing from the spark plug heat shielding to header bolts on 3 of the plug wires. I am going to have to keep them back from the metal or replace these mylar ones with the fiberglass kind.

Yeah. The best part was checking the water level after a 40 minute cruise around town and down the freeway, coming back to find it right at the top of the radiator. Those heads  I got with the engine must have a crack in them.

My Thunderbird did that when I swapped out the GT40Ps for the Edelbrock Performers. The nose went up about 1/2" or so. I think I need to bring it back down a bit. You car however looks great at that height.

No, no those are fine. The cracked heads were the ones I got on the supposedly rebuilt engine that I got for free.

I wasted a
lot of time and effort on them.

Thanks Chuck!
I am really excited about some changes I am making to the car pc front end. it looks like I am now going to finally be able to integrate my cellular phone through the car pc. The new front end is programmed in Vb16 and is super stable.

I am still on a mission to get the car that drives like it is 100 percent stock but has more than twice the horsepower Plus better fuel economy than the original. I am really close to having the finished product that I imagined after 5 years of working on it. Now with the heads on I am going to be making the changes that I need to make to get everything compatible for the horsepower. After axles and a gear ratio change the last item is to get a good torque converter.

I knew something was wrong right away back when I first got the car running.

When I pulled the e7 heads off for the first time I should have had them checked since the headgaskets were good. That was my mistake. The good news is is that the block is nice and straight and now everything is the way it should be.
