New member here. Posting some pics of my rides

Just bought this 88 Thunderbird 5.0/Auto 86k orig miles Guy was asking $1100 for it and I handed him $800 cash and he took it. I think I got a good deal. Only problems are the center arm rest, and leaky valve covers. It was worth $800
*will have better pics when it quits raining here, these are from the craigslist post*

Then I got this "land yacht" from a family friend that wanted it out of her yard! I gave her $100 because I felt bad for taking it since I found out it had a running 400 in it. It is a low mile car also, 87k
She weighs in at 6,143lbs and a whopping 18.5ft long!

Then is my 88 t-top mustang that is a never ending project. Has had many motors in it but I havent got the HP im looking for yet so it sits under a cover with no engine! lol Hopefully it will be getting new paint by the end of the month.

Then I have a 71 Camaro (i know its a chevy! just kinda ended up with the body so decided to race it so here is the end result, 640ci 8-71 supercharger, alcohol injected, dart block and heads, the local dyno machine at a shop near by is only rated for 1200hp, pegged that on the 1st pull. This is all I got for now! Enjoy!

I agree, you defenately got a good deal on the Bird. I'd say by looks of the interrior it's a sport model. It has the sport seats and center consol, plus auto on the floor, nice! The LTD looks to be in really nice shape as well. That's cool you pegged the numbers on the dyno!

May I suggest you swap some parts from the Chevy to the yacht (just the bug catcher and wing)?  Okay, go ahead and add the blower to that list.

Looks like you got a great deal on the T-bird. Should make a fun car.

BTW I don't think that the LTD weighs 6,143 lbs. Maybe more like 4,000 lbs. The 6,143 lbs rating you see on the door tag is the GVW, not the actual weight of the car.

I hope the T-bird and Mustang end up half as nice as that 71 Camaro.

Like everyone's said, nice t-bird! I myself like the Camaro a hell of allot more, being a Camaro fan. But you did get a sweet deal on the t-bird though. Good luck & have fun with all of them!
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]1988 Cougar XR-7. My parents specially ordered this car with every option accept leather seats in 1988. I bought it from them in 1998 & since then have installed American Racing wheels (still have factory mag wheels in boxes), ceramic coated headers into dual Flowmaster 50 series lers with single into dual stainless tips, 4 row radiator, B&M Transpak, converted to Mass Air with cold air intake, etc..

Thanks man!
I bought the bird not knowing much about them. I figured since it was so close to a mustang I could figure most of it out but what I didnt know is there is no aftermarket support for these cars! Which sucks!
