I have the stock premium sound speakers with a CD deck added. I don't usually use the radio when I drive as I listen to the 306 through the dual pipes;)

Yeah but that's you. I like to have all the bells and whistles in one package.

Speaking of bells and whistles here's the DVD player I'm looking at getting (90% sure I'm gonna get it):

I'm pretty excited! It's gonna be sweet! I was thinking of mounting a 12" LCD behind the center console for the rear passengers to see.

Why must you tempt me so!

I keep telling myself there is absolutely NO reason for me to have a 7" screen in the car, but when I see them, they are just so pretty...

The fact my SHO came with one in it gives me the excuse to replace it with another when the time comes. Now I dont have to make an excuse lol

Just got the deck in and it works great, I'm very happy with it so far. The e-brake wire was giving me trouble with no video playing so I wired it up to a switch and grounded it, one flick of the switch and the video works after its first turned on.

Watching my favorite movie.

I also bought the iPod cable.

I might get the Bluetooth and Sirius boxes someday.

Thanks. I think they have a navigation setup for this model, I don't think its built in. Overall I'd recommend it, but the thing I was hoping for was a customizable wallpaper, I'd do something up in photoshop with a 'Bird logo and a few pictures of the car.

Now I just need an iPod with over 4 gbs of space, and the "36/103" is just my playlist for funk, It's titled "The Whole Funk", sadly it doesn't show up on the screen only "My Music" does.

Check craigslist for i pods.  Picked up a 160gig for 150 what a deal. Have you reset the i pod by pushing top of click wheel and center button until you see the apple sign.  If that does not work then you need to organize your itunes.  Does the headunit play video thru the ipod also?

I've been looking on Kijiji for a few days waiting for a cheap one to pop up but thanks for the tip. I'll try resetting the iPod but it works fine with the deck, as for video I don't have any movies on my iPod but I'm assuming it would work as there's a little film button on the deck's screen.

That's cool man. I use to have a pioneer with the usb jack, used a power converter and used a external hard drive with the screen for movies and music.

So I took out the battery today to boost the forklift at work (of all things). After I put the battery back in the car I get my password screen for the deck, entered the password wrong 3 times.. And it locks me out... I've been trying to get it to work but it really hates me; I might have to send it back to Clarion which really blows.

In other news I have my audio system planned out and I'm sticking to it.

Alpine 4 channel for the doors and rear.
Alpine mono amp (1000 rms) for the subs.
3 Alpine Type E's 10".
2 sets of tweeters ran off deck power or my Kaption amp as its still new and will match the Alpines nicely.
Amp rack in the trunk angled towards the rear.

Now I just have to get everything.

Not much else to report on, other than a front end squeek which I'm guessing is the wheel bearings.

I installed the Alpine MRP-F300 tonight and man this thing is loud now, loud but clear. And I might be buying some Ponys with fat tires on them :D, for the summer of course. I also lined up some winter tires for my 10 holes if I ever drive in the winter with this car again. Also installed a Clarion BLT370 which is a bluetooth connector thing-y for my head unit, it mutes the music when a call comes in and starts right back up after the call is done, also streams music from my phone to the stereo. It was a good investment as a new $380 fine for talking on your cell phone whilst driving just came into affect.

Pony's and headers!

Tires are 225/50/16 for the fronts and 255/50/16 for the rear. They're almost bald but I'll get a summer out of them, clear coats starting to go on a few of the rims and only one has about 4" of curb rash.

Headers are from the junkyard, I had them sand blasted and painted them with VHT 2000 degree header paint. The exhaust should be done within a month or two. Thinking of 2.5", H pipe (cheap), Warlock lers and a Mustang mandrel bent kit for the rear.

Still looking for a T.C. hood...
