O.K.,let me ask a question....did you actually do the H.O conversion? If so,how come you have the 14# injectors and not the 19's?As far as the primer and letters,I liked the red better (maybe I missed something somewhere),and I wouldn't put letters or emblems on a car that's primered. It just gives off a redneck look (No offense at all).Instead of letters and stuff,I'd put money away for a paint job.I wouldn't have spray bombed the entire car.Once you paint it,it would be done the right way at that time.I only put primer on my car where bare metal was showing to prevent surface rust.Every time you start to buy something for your car,ask if it's a "want" or a "need".If it's a "want",step away.Get what you need, and focus on building it right. It doesn't always take a lot of money, but it does take willpower and patience.I spent zero dollars on my Sport.I used money from Ebay, trading, and selling parts to finance it.Patience really paid off.Make the car something you can be proud of.

Ditto. Only thing i have paid for thus far is my rear tires. I would be working towards paint on that car if it runs decent. You can have a shop or macco spray it if you do all the prep and that would save you the largest chunk of money. My car cost me 400 bucks but i did all the prep.

LOL no vinn i didnt do the H.O. conversion,.... the motor was about 4 bolts from being out,.. and the cops showed up!!!!....IM only missing the computer and injectors..... to do the swap,... tomarrow im going to do a set of concrete steps with my dad to be even with him,... and hes giving me a couple side jobs to make some cash for now......Dont worry,... i still have to put my new trns in,... and then ill worry about the conversion,....
I know the primer looks redneck,... but i already had the lettering from a while ago,....  so i figured EH wtf?.. why not!!!!! being broke i cant even afford gloss spray paint,. so, as youll see, i started runn ing out,... itll do for now,... but my first priority is  W O R K-------and that aint no radio station!!!!!<<<<<<(my dad always said that)... but anyway heres the pics!!!

My car hesitates in a very similar way. Althought my plugs and wires are probably older than dirt. They were the ones the car had when I bought the 5.0 pars car for the motor. I kept them because I knew it ran with them and didn't actually know if I was capable of the engine swap. So I'm thinking its a tune up for me, I'm not sure thought.

Let me know what you figure out...

Walt, it seems we have exactly the same problems at the same time with our cars, lol.

I actually like the black primer look. Gives it a menacing, don't-fvck-with-me-ricer-boy look (although it's just a look - with the SO 5.0 you're not going to win many races against, well, anything). I'd give it a few more coats though, so it's all the same colour and consistency.
