most lawyers offer a free consultation.  might be worth it to call a few  and get yourself a couple hours worth of free consultations from a few different lawyers (?)

According to SEMA's website,  Robert Hargraves and Fred barrows, who are in the MA house of representatives are supporters of automotive hobbyists.  Maybe you can call and email their offices and ask for advice.  i would both call and email:

Lots of good advice in this thread.  As long as you have a non-op license on the car I can't imagine them being able to take it.  If it's on your prop they can't take them anyway unless there's an HOA.  Register your heaps, it doesn't cost a ton and will save you a headache

here in mass you have to insure the car before you register it...........i just went thru that last week with my buddy.... And yeah the guy is not going to give up.... like i said, he's called the cops for two dogs barking at 7 o clock at night...... And even came out and yelled about the monte having straight pipes, even tho it ws just ideling in the yard...... the past few days have been a nightmare...... the only other option i have is teporarily store it at my friends job, get it running, "Give it to my girl..and put the ls up for sale...... they cant tow a car thats being sold....... but i cant put mine out there cause theres too much to do in ine week...And my girl wants a jeep, so getting rid of her car wouldnt bother me.......... But if i get rid of hers..... and somthing happens to mine.......ill be completely  lost...

if all else fails-  can you stash the cougar somewhere until you can insure and register it? just minimum liability coverage?    meanwhile- maybe tell your friend he's on his own with the chevy,  throw a tarp over the motorcycle,  and wait for the smoke to clear a little?

there is a hot rod club on the MA /NH border near Hampton Beach (but in MA) that runs a huge show in Hampton Beach every year.  i've been googleing and trying to figure out the name of the club for you.  can't find it yet.    I was in Hampton beach the past 2 years on the weekend they happened to have their show coincidentally.    IF an auto hobbyist is allowed (or not allowed) to have a project car / parts car on their premises in the state of MA, these guys would have the information you need.  i'll look again when i get a chance this weekend.

I used to park my car at walmart when the cops would bug me. only overnight, and only in a normal part of the parkinglot.

Thanks for the link........im really not doing too good guys.....ive been really sad and alone feeling..And i needed her to show me more "attention"....and when i told my girl,,,, she said she needed to talk to her friends more, cause she doesnt talk to anyone....(which is BS cause she talks too her friends all the time...)..ands didnt show me any signs of careing.....i mean..... WTF????? Shes supposed to be here for me... i mean, there have been times where ive stayed awake for literally 72hours straight...... i as working the 6pm to 6 am shift at s&w, and she just got her car, and it needed quite a bit of work....... wasnt running, bearings, lots of little BS....And  she didnt have a ride to work. so i cmpletely wore myself out, and have tried giving this girl the world......and im just now realizing... shes not here for me when i need her.... im losing everything ive had for the pat two years...... and the sad thing is......i cant even look forward to driving my cat........ so by this time next week,.. ill probably be living at my moms, jobless carless, and all alone.......im sorry to dump all yhis emotion on you guys........ i just have to tell/talk to someone...........im stuck at her house all day, while shes out with the car...at work and wherever..........(takes big deep calming breath)))

You will get through it man. Before I got maried, I was with a girl for 3 years and it sounds like you could be in the same situation as I was a few years ago. She was always  "out and about" never at home when she should've been.....etc. I am not trying to tell you what to do, but it seems like things would only get worse with her (just based on your post above). You gotta remove yourself from the bad before it gets worse. It will suck for a little while, you will be sad and have the lonely feeling for a while, but in time you will see it can get better. There are plenty of other girls in the world who would love for a good guy to "try to give her the world'. As for your cat, you will get something figured out, like, could you store it at your mom's?
