The way this legislation seems to be written - i.e. voluntary vouchers for 10+ year old cars - sounds better than the one I remember several years ago. The one I sent letters to my Congressmen (and got resposes too) had to do with forcing/highly incentivizing junk yard owners to s cars older than a certain year. That would have been a disaster for auto enthusiasts. I'm not going to dig up the letter and thus research the legislation - my memory of this is going to have to do for now.
Oh, sorry I snapped back at you above. You and your biased snarky remarks can be somewhat annoying at times.
