T-56 guys...help!!! (5-speed guys too)

Still have issues with my T-56 Cougar. But , I love this car.

1. My speedo is well over 10% off...only after doing the T-56 swap. Reads 79mph and I'm actually going 89mph. Is there an input/output shaft difference that I didn't know about? I'd like to know what speedo gear to get.

2. The clutch pedal now makes a loud clicking noise from the pedal assembly when letting the clutch out...I think its a white box that's attached to the opposite side of the pedal assembly. Hard to see but whenever I get a good solution I'll be pulling my seat out and fixing/replacing it.

you need a proper speedo gear, and a clutch cable quadrant.
Get the adjustable cable and quadrant from summit, and figure out what the proper gear is for your tranny.

Personally, I'd recommend the Maximum Motorsports cable, quadrant and firewall adjuster. Their stuff is top notch, and they did a lot of homework.

What gear do you have currently?
It's Gumby's fault.

I put Steeda's adjustable quadrant + cable + firewall adjuster on the car.  Well, I didn't, the guy who did my exhaust and T-56 swap installed it. He also suggested looking at the quadrant, sounds like it needs something.

I have 3.08 gears (stock)...I don't think D&D gave me a speedo gear with the tranny and now it looks like my shop ordered the wrong one.

Ok, I have something to work on now, it makes sense.  Will update once I figure it all out.
