9inch diff.

i have  a 1986 tbird and i wanna know if i can fit a 9 inch housing under it .if so what mods will have to make ?

it should pretty much just bolt in, if it fits a mustang, it will fit your car for the most part. Just get one for a 94-98 mustang and it should be the same width and everything.

No.  9" does not fit in a mustang. Will not bolt in without extensive mods or a custom-designed 9" housing to fit a Fox chassis.  Why do you need a 9" for anyway?

there are companys that make custom units to bolt into fox cars.

U would need to have a 9inch cut down to the same size as a 8.8 and then have the same brackets welded on to it like a 8.8 has.  Other choise is coil overs and laderbars.
