Gears really are one of the best mods for the money. I could tell a big difference when I went from 3.08s to 3.55s in my bird. If I had it to do over again I would have went to 3.73 or 3.90.

GAHH cant wait to get mine in I'm doin 373s too. I got a buddy and he told me a few months ago a friend of his dad's (who did the rear end on their built-up '72 LeMans) would be happy to do it for me. I gotta rattle his cage and see if the guy definitely will be available and when.

I can't even imagine...all I know is I'm probably gonna have to get some self-control. Anyone know where they sell that stuff I can't seem to find it?

Stick a 2400 stall converter in it, the difference will be just as great as the 3.73s(assuming you can find traction which is going to require sticky tires)...

i had 2.73's swapped to 3.73s into my T-bird.

My dads 69 mustang had stock i think 3.08s or so swapped to 3.55s and then 3.90s now the car takes off really quick.
