Really cleaning the garage! 83-88 TBird/Cougar parts, XR-7 Reply #3 – January 09, 2008, 02:45:45 AM Is the 50' Chrome Stuff the Stuff you use on the side moldings and front and rear bumpers? Quote Selected
Really cleaning the garage! 83-88 TBird/Cougar parts, XR-7 Reply #4 – January 09, 2008, 10:24:07 AM Nope. The stuff I use for the bumpers is custom cut to a specific width. This stuff is way too thin (though it is from the same company, which is how I figured out how to get them to make the right stuff for me). Quote Selected
Really cleaning the garage! 83-88 TBird/Cougar parts, XR-7 Reply #5 – January 09, 2008, 12:00:40 PM Michael,Put me in line for the keys if Vinnie doesn't end up getting them. But I am only interested in them if they are the factory Ford pieces which are a soft rubberized material. If they are the aftermarket black hard plastic ones, I'm not interested.Brent Quote Selected

Really cleaning the garage! 83-88 TBird/Cougar parts, XR-7 Reply #7 – January 09, 2008, 07:11:57 PM Mike, I think your XR-7 centercaps may be for the polycast wheels on the earlier models. I could be wrong, though.Quote from: Aerobird Motorsports;196768How do you tell the difference?Quote from: BCA;196703...factory Ford pieces which are a soft rubberized material. If they are the aftermarket black hard plastic ones...:D Quote Selected
Really cleaning the garage! 83-88 TBird/Cougar parts, XR-7 Reply #8 – January 09, 2008, 07:17:15 PM Polycasts? Can you guys tell from pics? They are 4-lug and have the lug holes, peaked center, and say "XR-7" on them in the middle. On the keys, all of my "old" keys are so used up/dry rotted/grease encapsulated that metal would look like soft rubber! How soft are NOS and how hard is the aftermarket ones? (I didn't even know they made aftermarket ones!) Quote Selected

Do they have "Canada" imprinted in them?Brent:cougarsmily: Quote Selected
