allo, i swapped ina 5 litre for my 3.8. its been hell since the day i did it! i need motor mounts. if anyone has them pm me or emial me at loko_munki@hotmail.com thanks!

well if you are talking about the brackets that go between the block and the mount for an 87-88 we are in the same boat...

I can get you these mounts, if you still need them. how does $25 a set and $10 for shipping sound?

Hey if you're interested, Autozone has the Mounts (not the brackets) for the 5.0 for $51.99 each, they're lifetime warranty too. Here's a link..

why dosen't anyone carry the brackets? the mounts are the same as a v6 aren't they?

Pep Boys has the mounts for $35 each with warranty. Also, both of my mount brackets were broken on one end and I had a friend weld them back together. Worked like a charm. So if you still have broken brackets, you can fix them.

Ford discontinued the brackets. Just like a lot of other parts for these cars.

to bad my cat is an 85.... are they the same?? also does anyone know if summit has any brackets? I saw that they now carry solid motor mounts for muskrats but i don't know if they are two-piece like the cougar/t-bird units so you might still need the brackets.
