Making some progress- FOR SALE Reply #225 – November 29, 2008, 04:06:06 PM I would bet his block is in pretty good shape. He gave some top end parts out of it, and they looked brand new. Looked like you where smokin the wheels on the dyno. Quote Selected
Making some progress- FOR SALE Reply #226 – November 29, 2008, 09:34:11 PM I just found out that the MD dyno that I was on reads about 12% lower than the Dynojet dyno. I wish I had been on one of them instead....530rwhp@5400rpm sounds so much better!!!I have been looking around at short/long blocks. The ones I want are way too much money. Looks like I am going to be looking for a used block or I'll have to see if mine can go to .040 over! Quote Selected

With the subframe member you put in you might be able to pull the pan. You may need to raise the motor a bit.I'll be going bye sat. if you need some help. Quote Selected

It looks like I will have to lower the steering rack. The tubular k-member has plenty of clearance to the oil pan. Quote Selected
