Blower motor resistor. November 07, 2006, 12:43:18 AM Ford man is the place to get it. I couldn't find anything with the books at work to give me the part number. Or anyhting that looked close to it inI any of the picture books we had. So I called mister ford man. I talked to a guy that used to work for Oreilly's with me. He looked it up and it is still avilable. He oredered one in for me. I forgot to wirte down the part number but I should have it on Weds. I'll post the part number with pics when I get it. Also so you know the app This is for a 84 turbo coupe with A/c. I did pull one out of an 88 cougar before and it worked but my blower motor is so worn that it is why the first one when out. So now I'm replacing both. So I do believe that this part should work for 83-88 with the manual heat/AC. Quote Selected

Blower motor resistor. Reply #2 – November 13, 2006, 11:41:22 AM -ispd,part should have been in a bag or blue & white box. should be ford only part, no motorcraft. motorcraft would be red & white box or had a short SW-xxx number. but yes the resistor you got works for all manual ac tbirds from 83-93....... Blower motor resistor. Reply #3 – November 19, 2006, 10:30:48 PM Are you talking about the actual device that bolts to the air box or are you talking about the actual "fuse""or "resistor" that is a part of the whole assembly?if your talking about the little tiny thing that breaks and causes you to only have high speed,, thats the part that can be repaired as well. Just unhook it and replace with a section of very small 26awg wire and your set. Quote Selected
