Interesting. Not only does the paint confuse me, but the image has been mirrored.
20th Anni Cats are pretty rare. Bring it back to life!

Welcome to the boards! I'm always glad to see more fellow Anniversary Ed. owners.

Your car looks like it has a lot of potential to be fixed up to be very nice...;)

The paint treatment someone has done to the wheels is interesting. In case you did not know they did not come that way originally - it looks like someone painted the red color just onto the surfaces that were originally the shiney unpainted aluminum alloy. (The rest of the wheels' gold color is original.)

Your car looks to be in excellent shape for having survived Canadian winters!  Congratulations on the purchase.  I hope to see it brought back to life.

Notice the Cougar is on the right side of the trunk lid?
Shouldn't it be on the left side with XR-7 after it?

Anyway, welcome aboard and good luck with it :D

Based upon the LS model, it featured a special Cabernet Red exterior ...

Ugh, I should have looked it up first. :brick:
I actually thought it was based on the XR-7.

Either way, isn't the badging reversed?
I've never paid enough attention to the rear of the 20th to know for sure.
