another HO conversion Reply #1 – May 17, 2017, 07:59:05 PM I searched alot for the best deals around and managed to get heads, intake, cam, fuel pump, from one guy, computer and valve covers from another, headers from one other, two pick and pull yards for the injectors and 1985 fifth avenue dual exhaust and some pony wheels to encourage myself from another mustang guy. So i bared the whole thing to get a bath and did some grinding to my heads for fun! Quote Selected
another HO conversion Reply #2 – May 17, 2017, 08:05:00 PM and after a fresh coat of old ford blue it went in and i cut and welded some pipes from my mopar dual from pick and pull, last saturday i must say that i was really pleased with the new sound of my 4 month achievement.right now i'm having trouble getting a serpentine belt cause of my smog pump delete, but i think that one for blazer 2003 without a/c will be fine. after all of this and last minute leak fixes the ride will still be a charm. My friend will also get me some marauder exhaust tips to beauty the thing a little Quote Selected
another HO conversion Reply #3 – May 18, 2017, 01:33:59 AM I can measure mine if you want. The part numbers are just rhe length and rib count, so any size available should be easy to get. As an example.K6760K6 means 6 rib, 760 means 76.0" long. Quote Selected

another HO conversion Reply #6 – May 20, 2017, 06:03:49 PM just did the 3g alternator swap today and with my 1997 3.8 mustang unit the pulley was a little bigger and my tought that the 2003 blazer 87.6'' belt was too long by half an inch is just gone because the bigger pulley just got what i wanted. interesting that one mod can cure 2 problems :D Quote Selected
another HO conversion Reply #7 – May 22, 2017, 06:07:23 PM Mine is 3g alternator with ac, no smog pump. Part # 6k860 Quote Selected
another HO conversion Reply #8 – May 22, 2017, 08:55:32 PM i tried the 6k860 and it was too short and now it's the 6k870 and it fits perfect and even better with the bigger pulley on my 3g. maybe we have different routing or my a/c is dealer installed instead of factory or canadian cars and us cars don't have the same equipment Quote Selected
