Oh shyte I missed the fact it was a Turbo Coupe, I agree... Also the half motor TPS is slotted to be adjustable(may be all that needed), plus one of the screws is offset so a 5.0 TPS won't readily fit...

Before I replaced anything I'd be running codes, looking for vacuum leaks and checking the TPS voltage to be sure it's in spec... A misadjusted TPS won't always set a code but can cause high idle...

To make it easy get one of these code readers, so simple a drunk chimp could use it...

Thanks I'll have check this weekend. Car ran fine today then when I got home it just decided to jump up to 2000
