Advise on a past sale Reply #15 – July 16, 2013, 11:11:51 PM When you have made the offer to make things right as you have done and your buyer won't accept those terms, just wants cash? Chances are pretty good that everything he is telling you is a lie. He is just trying to bleed you some more if he can. You've done your duty. Just don't answer his calls or block him. I've dealt with these people before as well. You're concerned about doing the right thing, which you have, and this guy is sitting back laughing his head off at the scam he's trying to pull. Be done with him. Quote Selected

Advise on a past sale Reply #17 – July 17, 2013, 12:44:09 PM When I sell an engine, and I've sold 3 this year so far, I make sure to be as clear as I can that the warranty is 30 seconds or 30 feet; whichever comes first. No warranty expressed or implied. You've done what you could for the guy. Caveat Emptor.Seriously, your back must hurt. You let the guy bend you over a barrel, then you offered to bend over backwards. Quote Selected

Advise on a past sale Reply #19 – July 19, 2013, 11:06:55 AM Quote from: bigbada1;418749I already offered to pay shipping to and from my brother in-laws shop. My brother inlaw sold me the blower and agreed that if I got the blowers go him he would take care of having it reclocked ( brother is a procharger dealer) the guy refuses to to ship it to the shop just wants $300 FYI on clocking a procharger: Loosen the bolts on the transmission and rotate. It does not require disassembly of the unit or technical expertise. Quote Selected
