Maybe a new thunderbird?

Hey everybody recently I ran across a thunderbird for sale and has been for sale for almost a year now. The body is really clean with no dents at all. It would need a paint job but there is virtually no rust on this car. The engine is  3.8 and if you know me well enough I will be swapping in a v8 if it runs or not. The guy is asking 1000$ i think its a little steep but tell me what you all think.
